Friday 28th December

I visited between 12 and 2pm. It was incredibly quiet today with hardly a record of any note. A few Reed Buntings and nice flocks of Long Tailed Tits was about it! I did drop in at Castle Lake off of Castle way Leybourne on the way home and had a couple of flyover Siskin. Lets hope the weather turns from this unseasonably warm weather and we get some good birds for the new year.

Could`nt agree more, Steve. What we want is a blast from the N/NE.

My thoughts exactly. Nice picture of the male Chaffinch. Good news to see that you've heard some Siskin.
