Sunday 09th July

A visit between 08.00 and 08.45 this morning. Brezzy and drizzling.

Best bird of the visit was a Green Sandpiper back on the scrape. Also 50 plus Swift pushed down low by the weather.

This spectacular plant was by the Water Works entrance. It turns out to be a species of Bear's Breech. It stands about two and a half feet tall.

Not much else around in a brief visit

Best bird of the day locally was a Red Kite seen riding the up-draft from the M20 near Wrotham just up the hill from me.
