Sunday 18th January

I only had time for the briefest of visits today to add Goldeneye to my year list at New Hythe. A pair were showing very well on the small Trout Lake adjacent to Alders Lake off of Lunsford Lane. Whilst I was there a Kingfisher shot past. I managed to get some quick snaps (of the Goldeneye, not Kingfisher!)

Hi Steve, nice Goldeneye shots, I must try and see one of these at some point! Made it over to Holborough brefly on sat and had a Grey Wagtail on the river (between the paper mill and the estate) and a buzzard over the Burham downs.

Hi Steve. Good shots of the Goldeneye. I watched several males displaying last Friday at Hayling Island but failed dismally to get a decent photo.
