Sunday 30th November
Finding it really difficult to find any time at all to get out at the moment. A brief 45 minute trip out from 4pm (almost dark!) to 4.45pm (pitch black!) My target bird, Bittern, did not show although it was seen on Saturday and during the last week by others. A few squealing Water Rail, a calling Cettis, several Goldcrest and Redwing were again about it.
