Wednesday 13th August

A quick wander around New Hythe between 9 and 9.45 with Felix in his pushchair - a brisk wind was blowing and sightings of any great interest were thin on the ground. I did hear one Cettis Warbler, see one Slow Worm, plenty of Gatekeeper and a few Meadow Brown and 2 Speckled Wood. A Migrant Hawker, Brown Hawker and a few Common Blue Damsels were the only Odonata seen.

Hi Steve....the photograph of the Long Tailed Tit is lovely.....for me so perfect....I really love those little birds, they are so pretty....

The morning wasn't bad here but the afternoon has been awful, the wind has been so strong.....

Steve ,
That Long Tailed Tit shot is superb .
Given that wind , you were lucky to see any insects on the wing .
