A visit between 6am and 7am this morning. It was overcast with a cold wind. Up to 4 Cuckoo here this morning, adding to the 1 that was again calling around my house in Birling. Nightingale, Whitethroat and Cettis again very prominent today with one Lesser Whitethroat singing in the east scrub area. The usual Water Vole was swimming near the divers car park bridge.

I added my first House Martin today - a single flying high above a mixed flock of Swift, Swallow and Sand Martin over Brooklands Lake.
