Monday 30th April

Well the one day I don't get to New Hythe it all happens. Whimbrel seen over the scrape, Osprey over Abbey Mead and Little Gull on Alders Lake - all seen by Terry Laws. Add to this a Green Hairstreak seen in the east scrub by Mike Easterbrook - it was not a good day for me to be at work until 8pm! I did manage to get to see the Little Gull a superb adult as the light was fading at 8.30.
