Saturday 6th January

A visit between 8.30 and 10am today. It was drizzling first thing.

Very quiet here today.....well for me, I bumped into the KOS trip so perhaps they will find everything that I missed. No sign of Goosander on the Millstream Lake (streamside) or Goldeneye on Abbey Mead. 6+ Bullfinch along the Medway, 15+ Teal on the river were the highlights. Plenty of Reed Bunting around this morning with 5 seen in total. I added Mistle Thrush (3) to my year list (along the Millstream) with a Chiffchaff calling along here. I am now on 57 species here for the year.
