Sunday 28th September

Another quick hour this morning from 8.30. It was chilly with some mist still in the air. Best sighting was 3 Redwing, my first of the autumn. Also a Blackcap, a few Chiffchaff that were Chiff-Chaffing, a Grey Wagtail, a flock of 20+ Goldfinch. There seemed to have been a fall of Robin with at least 20 seen in the east scrub but I couldn't find anything rarer.

A Water Vole in the usual place completed my sightings in a flying visit.

Loads of Robins arrived here, on the coast last week. I didn't realise how quickly that would be seen inland.
