Tuesday 24th June

As mentioned yesterday I saw a Spotted Flycatcher in Ryarsh the next village to mine, in gardens opposite the village school. I went back this morning and there was at least one probably two calling and catching insects on the wing from bushes and overhead wires. I did manage a snap but not great......light was a bit harsh and I was a bit rubbish!

Hi Steve I just love this bird...always been one of my favourites. Its a good photograph....well I think it is....so clear.
If you have a mo at some point (know you are busy with baby) I posted a skipper yesterday and a weird looking insect.....you would probably know what it is, before I start looking thru all my books....

Hi Steve,

many thanks for your comment and your willingness to assist with queries, but any chance you could email me an address to contact you on as I'd rather not post it publically? Many thanks,

Ben
