Sunday 6th April
I was again out at 6.30 today in the half light, hoping to get around before the snow arrived. There continues to be an arrival of Willow Warbler with 11 heard/seen this morning, strangly enough I also noted 11 each of Blackcap and Chiffchaff and 10 Cettis.
The snow began falling at 7.45, it was entertaining to watch 20+ Sand Martin and 2 Swallow over Brooklands as the snow fell heavily. Also noted this morning were 4 Green Woodpecker, 3 Bullfinch, 2 Teal and 2 Shelduck on the Medway and a Grey Wagtail over. A single Water Vole was showing at the end of the path by the east scrub.
Heavy snow began falling at around 7.45 today
