A late night visit between 11pm and 1am to look/listen for Owls. A fisherman who has been camping by Abbey Mead for a month or so has reported hearing and seeing both Little and Tawny Owl over the past few weeks. A group of four of us arrived at 11pm torches at the ready but heard and saw no Owls at all. The best sightings were half a dozen or so Glow Worm around Abbey Mead and a Fox feeding along the tideline of the Medway.
