A visit between 5.50 and 6.30pm looking for Bittern that had been seen. I had my youngest with me who was a bit noisy so i didn't watch from the usual spot at the bottom of the Millstream Lake (Streamside) No sign for me by dark but Adam Whitehouse and Mike Easterbrook had a single Bittern flapping briefly in the reeds at 6.15. Only other bird of note was a calling Cettis.
