Saturday 27th May

I was driving past New Hythe along the A228 this afternoon at 4pm and called in for the briefist of scans over the scrape - you never know what might drop in - especially as it had just started raining. The answer was not very much! 2 LRP were showing well, a Skylark over (first for me at New Hythe for a couple of months), a Green Woodpecker, half a dozen Swift, and a Whitrthroat were the only birds of note - still not bad for less than 15 minutes!
