Another quick pre-work visit between 06.30 and 07.15. I was full of hope for a fall of migrants this morning as there was a low cloud and a heavy mist across New Hythe......but nothing new I am afraid. 4 Willow Warbler, 3 in the west scrub and one in the east scrub. A Swallow zooming through at high speed, 5 Blackcap in song, 2 Cettis and a single Fieldfare hanging on.

A Fox crossed the bridge towards the scrape as I left.
