Wednesday 11th April

A visit between 6.15 and 10am.....again very quiet. Two Willow Warbler were in song, one in the West Scrub area and another in the East Scrub. No sign of yesterday's Turtle Dove around the sunken marsh area. Along the Millstream a Water Vole showed well on the far bank.

WATER VOLE ALONG THE MILLSTREAM

In total I counted 6 Blackcap in song along the Millstream alone, also a GS Woodpecker there.

A small patch of Bluebells by the path to Brook House and some Stitchwort by the West Scrub was about it for today.......back to work tomorrow so the migrants are bound to come flooding in!
