Saturday 23rd January
A quick hour visit between 11.30 and 12.30. I parked along Lunsford Lane and had a walk down to the scrape area and then back for a scan of Alders.
Highlights were a Meadow Pipit over and a male and immature male Goldeneye on Little Lunsford Lake.
I also checked the small wood near the carpark for Treecreeper but it was very disturbed and no sign.
I am having problems downloading my photos so none today.....all still in the can!

Hi Steve
Sounds like the two goldeneye that were on that lake pre ice age. That seems to be their location of choice. Good to get meadow pipit there.
Good birds seen for just an hours effort Steve.
