Sunday 15th September

Out this morning between 6.45 and 8.15am. Much more bird activity today at this time of day (compared with almost nothing yesterday!)

6 Cettis heard calling today all around the area, 2 Kingfisher, one along the Millstream and another over my head near the West Scrub. 3 Common Terns over calling and flying strongly south were good to see. 2 Chiffchaff singing one along the Medway and another along the Millstream.

Mid afternoon I was wandering around Birling Church with my 3 year old son. Saw a Buzzard soaring over the farmland and then dissapearing into the wood near the church.

LATE PM UPDATE - Just had 3 Buzzard soaring over the wood next to Birling Church.
