Sunday 16th May 2nd post

My second post of the day. We went to lunch at my Mother-in-Laws in Walderslade this PM. I gave up twitching a long time ago but seeing as the lingering Iberian Chiffchaff was just around the corner I made my excuses for a quick visit. I was the only birder there at about 4.30pm. Bird showed very well and sang it's heart out for my quick visit.

Hi again Steve.
Nice to see you finally got to see, and photograph the Iberian Chiffchaff. That was a better time to go than when I went again on Friday,as the light is much better.
Just out of curiousity Steve, where about's does you Mother-in-Law live?

Hi Ken, she lives in Sherwood Avenue. Not far from the shops.

Hi Steve
Thanks for that. I know the road very well. I had friends in that road, and the Sherwood Oak was my local for many years. My sister lives just off of Polhil.

How is my old chemistry teacher?!! Give her my best next time you see her.

Nice pic. I'm afriad I wouldn't know an iberian chifchaff from a british one. Do they 'chiffchaff' with a Spanish accent?!

Ha Ha! Greg we did mention you as well!! She is OK...think the 10 grandchildren she has are keeping her busy!

Call and song are very distinctive. I certainly couldn't seperate it from one of 'our' Chiffies without the song.
