Saturday 27th March

A text from Eddie Denson at 4.45 that he was watching at Alpine Swift over his house, Castle Lake, Motorway Lake (Junction 4 of M20) I was there in 10 minutes and had good views as it wheeled overhead. At 5.30 the heavens opened for torrential rain and it disappeared. Hopefully it will be around tomorrow.

Also a Swallow and Sand Martin over.

Apologies for the rubbish pics but great patch bird! Cheers Eddie!

Congratulations Steve!! I got absolutely drenched standing at the bottom of my garden looking over the lake but alas I missed out this time. Needless to say I will be down there early tomorrow, just in case.

Hi Steve.
Well done on getting there and recording a photo of it.
Bet there will be a few bodies in the area tomorrow, possibly I will be one of them. Keep looking skywards.
